The Goal of Project Dream is to encourage a generation of youth to find their dreams within themselves. “Project Dreams” will serve to help foster dreams in families with children where dreams have been diminished due to circumstances.
The Vision
One of my favorite scriptures is, “Without a vision the people will perish.”
The vision is for the "Project Dreams" series of children books to become a refuge where children will be able to identify issues they are faced with and adults sometimes tend to overlook.
The goal for the organization is to Equip youths to face challenges, Explore youths talents, Educate youths for life and Expand youths through self-awareness and self development.
The Book
The birth of my first character is a little girl by the name of Osha Denea Brown.Osha is a little girl who has been faced with many challenges in her life. She has friends and family who have experienced challenges in their lives. Even though her faith has been challenged, she still finds it in her heart to have a dream and the fun, loving spirit of Osha will prove to be a light for others around her.
Osha is like many youths who are living in environments identified as “low income” and who are simply not able to see a vision for their lives. She must find away to reach down and find the strength to build the life that she knows that she deserves.
Osha will serve as an inspiration and a guide to help children find their destiny in spite of the circumstances surrounding their lives.
How
By giving children living in circumstances that are beyond their control back the power to dream and to make those dreams come true, Osha can help establish a new way of thinking for a new generation of children.
Osha friends are kids from other cultures who may also experience there own issues the birth of each character will serve to better our community by helping us to see we are more alike than we are different. Here she is Miss Osha Denea Brown
